IBIS Backwaren - that's us
Since the company was founded in 1990, it has been our absolute passion to go on a culinary voyage of discovery in Europe's bakeries in order to find original baked goods specialties as well as new baking trends and to bring them to Germany for our customers.
Our quality standard
We take into account the increased demands of customers and consumers and show respect and responsibility towards people, nature and the environment. That is why we take care to avoid artificial flavors, colorings and preservatives in the production of our baked goods. We also do not process any genetically modified raw materials.
We check the environmental compatibility and possibility of recycling for all packaging materials used. It is important to us that the products arrive well packaged and fresh. This way we avoid food waste. Our products can be stocked and are therefore always on site when they are needed and eaten.
Every day, we work hard to offer the German, and in some cases also the European food trade, a constant stream of new, innovative and enjoyable baked goods specialties.
We focus on quality in the country of origin
For more than 30 years, IBIS has been working with the leading baking specialists and traditional bakers in Europe. A dense European network and a service chain certified to the highest international quality standards characterize our partners and our own productions in France.
Through our Europe-wide network, we ensure the success of our fresh baked specialties and can thus guarantee everyone the best quality warm and fresh to the table. Our products thus reach the warehouses of our trading partners in the fastest possible way.
Our claim is the original taste
It doesn't get any fresher, tastier and crispier than this - let us convince you!
We have the claim to always find new baking specialties in Europe and of course we always try them ourselves first. After intensive tastings and tests, every year several new baked goods, whether sweet or savory, come to your table for a variety of enjoyment situations.
Our IBIS team works with many experts
At IBIS, we want to offer you variety. We bring the results of our culinary journeys home to your table. To do this, we talk to people from different countries and with different mentalities.
That's why we have many experts on board at IBIS, whether it's in the product development and quality department or in logistics and order management. We do our best every day to let the tastes of this world enrich your everyday life. Baked where the main ingredients come from and where there is the best baking expertise to produce this specialty.
Our distribution
Just as we are on the lookout for goodies in many countries, we offer our baking specialties to all our partners in Europe. For this purpose, our colleagues in the sales department are in contact with a wide variety of trade partners every day. With our passion for high quality bakery products, we like to inspire and also in our offices there are fresh baguettes, croissants and other delicacies every day. Because these are our passion.
Our social commitment
As a company based in Aachen, we feel committed to the city region.
The Aachen center "Maria im Tann" has been at the forefront of our efforts for over 20 years.
Due to their individual biographies, the children and adolescents from the in-patient educational assistance there have far worse starting chances than children who are secure and supported in their families. However, we have intensified our efforts and activities in the area of donations and thus gladly accepted our responsibility.
Because: Regionality also means showing face.
The "Tafel" in Germany are seeing more people in need of help than ever before, but unfortunately also far fewer donations. This leads to bottlenecks. Those who donate are not only doing good for people, but also for the environment, because the disposal of food wastes a lot of CO2 emissions.
Since the well-being of people is close to our hearts and we also value sustainability and environmental protection, we regularly help the food banks in the region.
We also support the „Aachener Kältehelfer“ of the Johanniter from November to March in their work to help the homeless. The cold helpers are there with a heart and an open ear for concerns or simply for a chat. The heroes are out and about at night because the homeless can hardly expect help from other institutions at this time.
